Yes, that’s a real miniature rose. And that’s my thumb.
My advanced beginner’s katana finally came in the mail today.
Don’t really like the guard, but hey, you get what you pay for.
My beginner’s katana is the small black plastic one I bought for $2 from Go-Lo. The pink one is my little sister’s she got from some Asian bargain shop. Bless.
After working hard for the week leading up to the 4 day long weekend, I FINALLY went to see Frank Miller’s 300 last night.
After 7-8 months of anticipation I can honestly say it’s a spectacular film. Even though the story is as thin as a Kleenix, the ferocity of the battles, the super awesome battle troop designs and the glorified blood make it an instant classic epic in my books.
It’s one beautiful film. My jaw dropped many a time when the action slowed down, drapped with gorgeous colour.
Sadly though, it doesn’t make my top 5 films list. (If you’re wondering, the list consists of Lock Stock Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Toy Story…)
Oh right, yeah. I’ve got a Flickr account as well with only one photo. Add me!
