TED (Technology Entertainment Design), is a conference like no other. I’ve been downloading their free video podcasts for a while now. It’s an intimate space where the “thought-leaders, movers and shakers” get to share their ideas for about 18 minutes. They’re enjoyable, interesting and thought provoking. Some of the speakers are there to save the world, some are there to present talks on the human condition and some are there to show off their latest techno gizmos. Al “Save the world” Gore’s and David Pogue’s talks I would say are the most enjoyable.
Here’s the spoiler, tickets are limited, and they cost about $6 000 a pop. Ungh!

We’ve finally jumped on the Flickr bandwagon. Click here to see us do nothing at work. Oh, and add us if you’ve got a Flickr account… because we’re lonley…
Besides drawing near-naked ladies and cute monsters, I often do experimental stuff with code. It’s fun, and when I solve problems and/or get fantastic results I scream with joy (the pants even become a bit soggy).
Anyway, today I made this thing. Doesn’t do much, but I might use it someday. Might not. It was a fun 3 hours though.
I’ll let you figure it out. Half the fun is finding out what it does for yourself. I’ll let you in on one thing though, the tiles rearrange themselves when you resize the browser window. And it’s super-uberly cool when you stretch the browser over two screens (if you have dual display).
~sigh… It’s made in Action Script 1. I’m too noob for AS2.
Been waiting a long time for this Frank Miller movie adaption. It’s gonna be one fucken beautiful film, no matter how over the top or how shite the story is.
